This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the fundamentals of wheel throwing using clay. Participants will learn how to center clay, shape basic forms, and understand the physical relationship between hands, tools, and the wheel. The emphasis is on patience, practice, and learning through touch. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to try something new.

Because wheel throwing takes practice, this workshop focuses on learning the process rather than finished pieces. TOSS will provide tiles or coasters for glazing and firing, which will be ready for pickup a few days after class.
