Workshops
FAQs
Registration: Advance registration is required for all workshops. Space is limited and workshops may fill quickly. Registration closes 24 hours before the workshop start time unless otherwise noted. You will receive a confirmation email after registering with location details and any preparation notes.
Is there is a waiting list? Because these classes one-offs, we do not offer a waiting list. If the class is full when you apply, we will email you and ask if you’d like to attend another class (generally covering a different medium of art).
Signing up for multiple classes: You can attend every workshop, consecutively, or just those which interest you most.
Experience level: No prior experience required unless noted. Workshops are designed to be welcoming to beginners while still engaging for experienced makers.
Materials: All standard materials and tools are included unless otherwise stated. Finished work is yours to take home.
Age Guidelines: These workshops are designed for adults ages 18 and up. Periodically, family-friendly options will be available.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Because workshops require advance preparation and materials, we follow these policies:
Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the workshop may receive a full refund or credit
Cancellations within 72 hours of the workshop are non-refundable
If TOSS must cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future workshop (if we do not meet our base-line registration goal).
If you are unable to attend due to illness or emergency, please contact us as soon as possible.
Accessibility and Accommodations: We are committed to creating inclusive and welcoming experiences. If you have access needs or would like to request an accommodation, please contact us before registering or as early as possible after registration so we can plan accordingly.
Code of Care
TOSS workshops are grounded in respect, curiosity, and care for one another. By registering, participants agree to:
Treat instructors and fellow participants with respect
Use tools and materials safely and responsibly
Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
We reserve the right to remove participants who disrupt the learning environment without refund.
Staying Informed
New workshops are announced through email, social media, and community partners. Based on survey feedback, email is the primary way people prefer to hear about upcoming offerings.

This workshop series is shaped by community voices and built to grow over time. We are excited to make art with you.

This workshop introduces watercolor as a flexible and expressive painting medium. Led by Gláucia Mir, participants will explore color mixing, best practices, and fun textures while learning how water and pigment interact on paper. The focus is on experimentation, and letting go of control as images slowly emerge. This workshop encourages curiosity and confidence rather than perfect results.
