Linocut is a wonderful exploratory art medium, as it’s approachable yet you can elevate it to your heart’s desire, AND you can continue printing your carving for several more prints.

Together with TOSS Instructor and professional printmaker, Gláucia Mir, you will learn all about the tools and materials, as well as best practices to carve a successful block print.

You bring the ideas, and we bring the supplies. (We can also help with the ideas!)

Together we will make 1-2 small linoleum carvings and prints. If you’d like to print on a piece of clothing, bring that along too. We recommend a 100% cotton, but most blends will work, just avoid quick-dry materials and jerseys.

 You will leave the workshop with your “stamp or block”, a few prints, and the knowledge and skills to continue and grow your practice!
