Fiber Art: Needlefelting | April 23 (6-8pm)

$55.00

Fun fact: Wool has a unique microscopic structure that structurally responds to heat, moisture, and friction!

Needle felting is a fiber art method where we create friction by punching a notched needle through small bits of wool roving, which then tangles the wool, making the wool bits become a firm structure. This method will allow us to turn the wool into shapes and designs of our choosing!

Our art instructor, Thomas, will guide you through the process, and you will leave our workshop with at least one felted piece of art.  You will have a choice of making it into a pin, an ornament, a magnet or wall or free-standing art.

This method is a little tedious and requires patience, but the repetitive motion can be quite therapeutic.
